Gerry Curtis is a cinematographer, editor, colorist and director with 12 years experience working on films, commercials, television and web projects. He recently completed work as cinematographer on a feature length documentary on postpartum depression, "When the Bough Breaks," narrated by Brooke Shields, which he also color graded, which is currently on Netflix. In 2014 he travelled around the US filming and co-producing a series of videos for the Smithsonian Institution.
His short film, Savasana, which he wrote, produced and directed, played at over 20 films festivals in the US and Asia, winning 2 best short film prizes. Prior to working in the film industry Gerry enjoyed successful careers in the financial services industry and being a regional manager overseeing 10 restaurants in Northern California. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking and exploring Los Angeles with his Jack Russell Terrier Ripley.
